sweet pea salad


INGREDIENTS:

2 cana sweet peas, drained

6 hard boiled eggs, chopped

1/4 cup mayo (more or less to taste)

1/2 purple onion, finely minced

6 cloves garlic, grated

6 ounces gouda cheese, cubed (small pieces)

1 heaping teaspoon dijon mustard

onion powder, to taste

black pepper, to taste

cajun seasoning, to taste


DIRECTIONS:

1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and season to taste. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.


NOTE: Mama’s version is just the peas, mayo, eggs and cajun seasoning!


store, covered, in the fridge, for about a week
