Smoked Sausage Greasy Gravy


**this "recipe" is very loose in measurements. it's more of a, cook by look kinda thing!**


INGREDIENTS:

1/2 pound smoked sausage

water

1/4 cup vegetable oil

cajun seasoning, to taste


DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a skillet, pour the vegetable oil and heat on medium high heat until hot. Cut the sausage into links (about 1 1/2 inches or so) and place in the hot oil. Fry down, stirring occasionally until they begin to brown.

  2. Pour in water ( I used about 30 ounces), cut the heat down to low and simmer about 45 minutes.

  3. Serve over rice!
