Roasted Asparagus


INGREDIENTS:

1 bunch of asparaus, trimmed

1 lemon, sliced

4 garlic cloves, sliced

salt

black pepper

avocado oil


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

  2. Place the trimmed asparagus in a bowl, coat with the avocado oil, salt, and pepper.

  3. Lay them down on a baking sheet. Spread the sliced garlic and lemon slices evenly around.

  4. Bake for 15 minutes.

NOTES:

The ends of asparagus is very fibrous and hard to eat. Each piece has a natural breaking point if you slightly bend it. This will result in the asparagus being different sizes. If you wish to have them all the same, you can just use the natural break point of one piece as a guide for the rest.
