Mama's smothered green beans


INGREDIENTS:

2 cans green beans

8 ounces bacon, chopped

cajun seasoning

2 tablespoons butter


DIRECTIONS:

  1. In a skillet on medium high heat, brown the bacon until crispy. Remove all but 2 tablespoons of the bacon grease.

  2. Add in the green beans and butter, season to taste.

  3. Turn heat to low, cover and let cook for about a half hour stirring every so often.
