Fudgy Brownies

INGREDIENTS:

1 stick unsalted butter; melted

1 tbs coconut oil, unflavored

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white sugar

2 eggs

2 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup AP flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

pinch of salt


DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter, oil, and sugars. Once incorporated, add in the eggs and vanilla, whisk again until smooth and creamy.

  2. Using either a metal sieve or a sifter attachment; sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

  3. Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture; and fold together. Be sure not to over mix.

  4. Put the mixture into a baking dish lined with parchment paper.

  5. Bake for a total of 30-35 minutes; checking after the first 15, then about every 5 minutes after that*

NOTES:

* Every oven bakes differently; I recommend checking every 5 minutes until the batter is cooked and is just barely set.


Let them cool completely before cutting.
