Fried Pickles

INGREDIENTS:

small jar pickle spears

4 eggs

2 cups flour

1 1/2 cups Panko bread crumbs

cayenne pepper

cajun seasoning

garlic powder

vegetable oil, for frying

fresh parsley, for garnish

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Prepare three separate bowls. In one bowl, whisk together the eggs & cajun seasoning. In the second bowl, add the flour and season to taste and season the Panko ( to taste) in the third bowl.

  2. Preheat the oil to 350 degrees F. Lay the pickles on paper towels and pat dry. Coat each one in the egg wash, flour, egg wash, and panko and press to ensure they're coated evenly and repeat with all of the pickles.

  3. Fry for 5-10 minutes; or until crispy.

  4. Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel lined wire rack.

  5. Serve hot, garnished with parsley, with ranch!
