INGREDIENTS: 1/2 cup butter
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy)
2 1/2 cups quick oats
1 teaspoon vanilla
Note: Have all of your ingredients measured out ahead of time.
On the counter, lay out a sheet of parchment paper and weigh down the corners.
In a non stick pot over medium heat, combine the butter, sugar, cocoa powder, and milk. Stir until the butter is melted. Bring this to a boil; then start a timer for exactly two minutes; stirring constantly.
Remove from the heat and stir in the oats, peanut butter, and vanilla.
Immediately spoon onto the parchment paper and let cool to set.
